FIRST CONFESSION & FIRST COMMUNION: As part of their preparation for their First Holy Communion, the boys and girls are invited to read the Prayers of the Faithful and participate in the Offertory procession for the remaining Sundays in Lent. First Confessions take place on Mon Mar 27th at 7.30pm in Athboy, on Tues Mar 28th in Rathmore at 2pm and in Rathcairn on Wed 29th Mar at 7.30pm.
SMA: The Society of African Missions - will speak at all Masses next weekend. It was founded in France in 1856 and when it was established in Ireland in 1878, it was the first exclusively missionary congregation to send out missionaries from Ireland. The main mission of the SMA is in Africa where members work in 17 countries. Today there are about 900 members and 270 seminarians preparing to be missionaries. The SMA asks for the support of prayers for the success of its missionary work. Our greatest needs are funds to educate our seminarians and to continue work among the poorest people of the earth.
BREDA O’BRIEN TALK: In preparation for the World Meeting of Families 2018, Breda O’Brien who is a wife, mother and journalist with the Irish Times, will deliver a talk at St. Mary’s Primary School, Trim on Thursday 30th March at 8pm. All are welcome. Breda also founded the Irish chapter of Feminists for Life in 1992.
SOSAD WELLNESS DRIVE: Thank you to all who hosted the SOSAD Soup Kitchen last week. Sosad wellness sheets are available at the back of the Church.
BAPTISMAL MEETING: The next baptismal meeting for parents who wish to have their babies’ baptised takes place on Monday April 3rd 2017 at 8pm in the Parochial House. Please enrol in advance to the Parochial House.

IRISH CANCER SOCIETY are holding their annual Daffodil Day on Friday 24th March. There will be collection points on the street on that day. Your support would be greatly appreciated. If you have an hour to spare in volunteering on the day please contact Frances on 087 6545856.
