BINGO in aid of Church funds takes place today Sunday September 10th at 3pm in the Darnley Lodge Hotel. BAPTISMAL MEETING: The next baptismal meeting for parents who wish to have their babies’ baptised takes place on Monday October 2nd 2017 at 8pm in the Parochial House. Please enrol in advance to the Parochial House.                                 

LOURDES PILGRIMAGE:   We pray for those on the Meath Pilgrimage to Lourdes 12-17th Sept.                                                                                                                          

CONFIRMATION takes place on Friday 23rd February 2018 at 3pm.                                                                                                                 

RATHMORE CHURCH CHOIR sing at 9am Mass on Sundays and practice monthly. New members welcome. Contact Fergus at 0872063086 or Mary at 0872276756.                                                                                                            

ATHBOY CHURCH CHOIR sing at 11.30am Mass every Sunday in St. James’ Church and practice most Wednesday nights for one hour. The choir is currently seeking new members, both ladies and gentlemen. If you are new to the parish or have ever sung in a choir and feel that you would like to get involved in church music, then why not come along to either Mass or practice and the choir and its Director will be more than happy to meet you.                                                                                        

PROMOTING PRO-LIFE:  public meeting with a view to education on saving the 8th Amendment and the unborn on Monday 11th Sept at 7.30pm in the Trim Castle Hotel, Trim.                                                                                                                       

PUBLIC ROSARY to mark the centenary of Fatima will be held in Trim on Saturday 16th Sept at 4pm on Market Street (under the courthouse clock) Trim.                                                                                                                        

 “SPEAK LORD, YOUR SERVANT IS LISTENING” Vocation Retreat Day on Sat Sept 30th 9.30am-5pm for young adults (18-40) in Dalgan Park, Navan. A day of prayer, conversation, and discernment. RADIO MARIA IRELAND is an Irish-run Catholic Talk-Radio station and is available to download free by App “Radio Maria World Family.” Prayer, Catechesis, uplifting music all commercial free with live Morning Prayer at 9.15am followed by daily Mass.

DIGITAL SKILLS FOR CITIZENS  is basic internet training targeting certain groups in society; peoples aged 45+, farming communities, small business owners, jobseekers, persons with disabilities, disadvantaged groups. This training is funded by the Dept. of Communications, Climate Action & Environment. It is free. It will take place in Athboy Community School from Tues Nov 7th (7-9pm) for 5 weeks. CHY 4 FORMS: if you have received a CHY4 form from the Parish Office, we would appreciate if you would return it as soon as possible. The Revenue Commissioners offer a tax rebate to charities for donations over €250 per year from any individual.This applies to both self employed and PAYE people.
