BAPTISMAL MEETING: The next baptismal meeting for parents who wish to have

FIRST FRIDAY - Friday October 6th - Masses at 8am and 7.30pm on Friday for those on the List of the Dead. Communion calls on Friday to the sick and housebound at the usual times.
PARKING lN CHURCH GROUNDS: We ask able-bodied people to park in the car park and leave parking in the Church grounds for those who are elderly and infirm.
ENVELOPE SERIES: The new series of envelopes begins today Sunday October 1st. The committee are in the process of preparing the new boxes for distribution.

IT lS 7OO YEARS ON 17th October 2017 since the Carmetite monastery was founded here in Athboy. Our evening Mass on Tuesday 17th October will be celebrated by the Carmelites to commemorate this occasion and Bishop Smith will attend. After Mass, Rev Dr. Simon Nolan, university history lecturer, will give a talk on The Fourishing of Carmel in lreland" to commemorate the 700th anniversary of the founding of Athboy Friary.
