At all Masses this weekend we welcome the children who are making their First Holy Communion together with their parents and families.
They will read the Prayers of the Faithful and participate in the Offertory procession.

They also will make their First Penance this week – in Athboy on Monday evening at 7pm, on Tuesday at 6pm in Rathcairn and on Thursday in Rathmore at 2pm.

Confirmation takes place this coming Friday 23rd February in St. James’ Church, Athboy at 3pm, when Bishop Smith will administer the sacrament to 74 boys and girls from the three primary schools in our parish.
Parishioners are advised that there will be no parking in the Church grounds on the day and that the gallery is reserved for the choir.
The practice for the Confirmation takes place on Wed Feb 21st at 7.30pm.
