Monday 3rd February. St Blaise was Bishop of Sebaste, he was martyred in Armenia in 315AD. Tradition tells us that he was a physician before becoming a bishop. He is venerated as patron of those who suffer from disease of the throat. Blessing of throats after Mass on Monday morning.
