Meath Diocesan Choir are coming to Athboy on the First Sunday of Advent, Sunday 1st December, for a service of Carols. Meath Diocesan Choir was formed for the year 2000 and consists of over 80 women and men from the 69 parishes of our diocese. The choir sing on the annual pilgrimage to Knock, in September they travelled to Lourdes and they have travelled and performed in Rome and other European cities.
Each year they visit a parish in the diocese before Christmas to sing carols by way of supporting a local charity and parish. This year they are coming to Athboy on the First Sunday of Advent, next Sunday 1st December. They will be joined by choirs from Athboy Church & National Schools of Athboy Parish. The service will begin at 7pm and tickets (€5) will be available after Masses this weekend.
