NA CASAIDIGH IN CONCERT   in aid of Rathcairn Church improvements Friday 7th Dec Áras Pobail Ráth Chairn 8.30pm Tickets €20.

Our Christmas Carol Service will take place on Saturday December 15th at 7.30pm in St James' Church, Athboy. It will feature the Athboy Church Folk Group, St James' Choir and the choirs from Athboy and Rathcairn National Schools. All welcome.

Christmas Bingo and Raffle in aid of Church funds takes place on Sunday December 16th at 3pm in the Darnley Lodge Hotel. Raffles with 25 prizes.

The Christmas Penitential Service will take place on Thursday 20th December after the 7.30pm Mass with a number of visiting clergy. Confessions will also be available on Saturday 22nd December after the Vigil Mass and on Sunday 23rd December after the 11.30am Mass.

The sick will be visited on Friday 4th January at the usual times.

The January Baptism Meeting for parents who wish to have their babies baptised takes place on Tuesday January 8th the the sacristy of St. James' Church following the 7.30pm evening Mass. For more details and to book a place please ring the Parochial House 046 9432184.

OCTAVE OF PRAYER FOR CHRISTIAN UNITY: takes place each year 18th – 25th January. We pray for unity among all Christian Churches in the world and we remember in prayer those who suffer for following Christ. A Prayer Service for Christian Unity takes place on Thursday 24th January in the Community School at 8pm.
